TORII WOLF
Torii Wolf believes in music’s power to transcend. And when people hear Wolf’s arrestingly moving voice and wide-ranging musical style, they immediately drop into the emotion of the song and connect on levels that transcend genre, gender, time, and space.
For Wolf, a New Yorker now based in LA, songwriting is a full-body experience. “I feel a song forming in my whole body; the urge to express is totally physical.” Wolf’s songs start from an emotional place. They drop into that emotional space, express it musically, and writes lyrics by finding words for feelings. Their live performance is an electrifying culmination of all that feeling and emotion.
Wolf has been playing music professionally for nearly 15 years, including a full album and tour with hip-hop icon DJ Premier as Torii Wolf, and live performance and production with Mike Zombie, the OVO-beatmaker behind Drake’s “Started From the Bottom.” Zombie’s productions with Torii Wolf are dark and deep and that really resonates with their overall vibe.
“Torii has such a weird, wicked style,” DJ Premier offers. “It’s just very left field—reminiscent of a Bjork or something like that. They are so unique and versatile; they write, sing, and they are an accomplished guitarist and drummer. But image-wise, there is no comparison. Subject-wise, Torii is in a whole different place.”

GARRISON STARR
“I’m claiming my seat at the table. I’ve earned it.” Garrison Starr has reconciled the pain of her past, wrestled shame and self-doubt into submission, and stands in her powerfully-bared truth with her new album, Girl I Used To Be. After two milestone-laden decades in music (GRAMMY-nominated album, sync placements on massive TV hits including “Grey’s Anatomy” and “Pretty Little Liars,” touring with Patty Griffin, Melissa Etheridge and more), Garrison, hailed as “Lucinda Williams for Gen X’ers” by NPR, quietly put her “artist self” on the shelf. Having been been kicked out of the Evangelical church of her youth for being gay, she retreated into songwriting — exhausted, hurt, and angry. Processing pain with her pen, Garrison faced down the hell she paid growing up in Christian fundamentalism which only saw her “sin” — trauma she tackles on the album’s tone-setting first track, “The Devil In Me”. Lauded by MSNBC for her “gorgeous, full, rough, passionate voice that can be ultimately pensive, intimate, hurt, consoling, libidinous, or scornful — sometimes during the same verse,” Garrison reconnected with her a part of herself she’d been missing “for a long, long time” while recording Girl I Used To Be. “This album is an exploration of self-love, forgiveness, and self-discovery,” she says. “There is a vulnerability in these songs and the performances that I love. The songs were recorded and performed live, with two old mics — one on the guitar and one on my voice. No click, just me and the old Martin I was playing, or the old Gibson. They were both such sweet and patient old vessels.” Adding, “This record feels like me. As I’ve always been. Right here all along.”
JARINA DE MARCO
In creating an affinity between genres, Jarina de Marco's genre-spanning behavior proves there are no creative process boundaries. With folkloric ancestral sounds derived from African and Indigenous communities of the Dominican Republic and Brazil, and the deep Jazz and flirty pop that enamored her youth, Jarina de Marco’s distinctive sound amplifies citizens of the world. Her contribution to the music industry and Latinx community is one that has made an impact. Motivated by her identity's layered realities and the political and social complexities in the community, the multilingual singer-songwriter, and visual artist can infuse various styles that transcend languages and borders and carry social-consciousness.
She released "Release The Hounds" in support of Standing Rock's movement to protect their land against the Dakota pipeline. Laura Gomez, Chris Rock, Rosario Dawson, and others visually contributed to the video and cause, soon after Obama stopped the pipeline. The song has been featured in shows like ‘Vida’ and ‘Euphoria.’ In August 2019, she dropped her EP Malcriada, a six-track project that questioned the term often to describe “misbehaved” and “bratty” women—displaying clear and raw messages on empowerment, identity, and boundaries through a series of fusions. Following her parent's footsteps, she embraces her bilingual lyricism in tracks that empower women, educates and brings awareness to be social and racial discrimination—all while illustrating her aesthetic and storylines through creative directing and visualization. “When I write a song, I definitely write it thinking about what it looks like as well. They're very tied together…I'm very much involved in every aspect of it. Art directing, directing, coming up with the concepts, working with creatives to bring out the visuals. It's something that I'm super invested in. I love doing it.” This is best exemplified in the projects videos like her track “Bilingual” showcases various colors and hues and unique aesthetic personal to the artist. “Identity Crisis” touches on the long and complicated history of internalized racism and colorism in the Dominican Republic while simultaneously providing dramatic, stimulating shots and clips. Her Mad Decent collaboration “STFU,” also illustrates a divine, monochromatic visual. Due to popular demand, she drops the Vida-popularized track "Electrico" September 29th. The song is one of the many tracks she created working closely with ‘Vida’ show creator Tanya Saracho, curating beats, sounds, and wording for specific scenes and characters. Her upcoming project Caribbean All-inclusive Luxury, a spoof of the many hotels that exist in the Dominican Republic, is set to drop in 2021. It will be the first project in which the artist emphasizes love, romance, and intimacy in her lyrics and topics.

AMY KUNEY
Born and raised by Southern Baptist missionaries, Amy Kuney spent her most formative years working alongside her parents, working with the people of Honduras. For her, music has always been a means of ‘therapy’, having begun piano lessons at the age of four, and learning guitar at fifteen, she’s been writing songs ever since she can remember. While Kuney doesn’t subscribe to her parent’s religious beliefs, she did begin her music career by performing and writing for praise and worship bands through her most formative years.
Kuney specializes in lyrics and story-telling through song, and has used these techniques to help others in her own way. Although she does have an artist background (Ames), her focus is now on using her experiences and vocabulary to “be of service to artists looking for the right words”. Kuney has had cuts with Damien Rice, AKON, Kelly Clarkson, Adam Lambert, Tori Kelly, Jason Mraz, Christina Perri, Michelle Branch, Rita Ora and Ben Platt. She has worked alongside a multitude of producers like Toby Gad, FINNEAS, Nick Ruth, The Monarch, Bram Inscore, and Dan Nigro.
Kuney's songs and performances have secured placements for shows like Charmed, Hemlock Grove, The Blacklist and Catfish as well as commercials for Kleenex, Pringles and Macy’s. Most recently, collaborations with Producer/Writers such as Tim Myers and 'Campfire", have been placed for the Disney+ show BIG SHOT, Live From E! At The Grammy's Promos (2021) as well as a 2021 Starz branding campaign.
ALOE BLACC
In the years since Aloe Blacc’s last album, Lift Your Spirit, the global superstar spent time working on an even dearer project: his family. All Love Everything, his most recent album, is the singer-songwriter’s first collection of material written as a father, a journey that’s expanded Blacc’s already heartfelt artistic palette. “Becoming a father made me want to share those experiences in music,” he says, admitting it’s a challenge to translate such a powerful thing into lyrics and melody. But the listeners who have followed Blacc over the course of his career know that his facility with language and sound is deep -- if anyone was up to the task, it’s him.
Raised by Panamanian immigrants in Southern California, Blacc grew up around the sounds of salsa, merengue, and cumbia. He initially developed his own taste by throwing himself into hip-hop before trying out his soulful voice to other ends. Across three albums, his sound evolved and grew, finding a pocket that reflects the long and beautiful history of American soul with timeless, descriptive songwriting that speaks to the broad range of human experience, from platonic love to love for humanity, from politics to aspiration. Versatile and compassionate, his songwriting is classic in a way that makes categorization irrelevant; indeed, Blacc’s lyrics have been paired with dance music and country -- always to stirring effect. Aloe Blacc isn’t defined by genre.
“Rather than a genre, my music follows a theme I call A.I.M.: affirmation, inspiration, and motivation,” he explains. Beloved hits like “I Need a Dollar,” “The Man,” and “Wake Me Up,” with Avicii, may not fall under the same musical umbrella, but they’re united by how they make the listener feel. That’s Blacc’s wheelhouse, the place where he excels. “After so many opportunities to talk about my music and not feel comfortable saying, ‘I’m a pop artist’ or ‘I’m a folk artist,’ I had this realization. My songwriting genre is thematic.”
All Love Everything is a generous addition to the A.I.M. catalog. It fulfills Blacc’s ambition to express the richness of familial love on songs like “Glory Days” and “Family,” while also making room for anthems about perseverance and support like “My Way” and “Corner.” Working with producers Jonas Jeberg, Jugglerz, Jon Levine, and Matt Prime, Blacc has crafted his most open-hearted album to date. Generous and warm, All Love Everything draws on soul, folk, and contemporary pop, reminding listeners that there’s no pigeonholing the human experience.

BURИS
Lily Burns is a producer, songwriter, composer, and engineer from San Francisco, CA. In 2017 she moved to Los Angeles where she began working with independent artists on developing their sound, arranging their live shows, and/or mixing albums and singles. She is dedicated to interpreting each artist’s vision and making it her own, as well as capturing each artist’s unique personality in the sound of the work she creates for them.
In 2020, Burns began her transition into the sync world with her project Daughters Of The Deep, a dark trailer EP aimed at period piece contexts with immense soundscapes that evoke images of other worlds.
