Becca, your voice still slays me. I LOVE ‘I Am My Mother.’ You sing it from a daughter’s heart. And I cried.
— Patty Loveless
RLH is undeniably one of the most talented artists in music. A bluegrasser by birth who has proven that she can sing any type of music with such ease. She is the kind of artist whose voice grabs your attention and if she is on stage, your eyes are on her no matter who is performing or playing alongside her. She is just that captivating!

BIOGRAPHY

Crossover country-pop singer, and two-time GRAMMY Award winner, Rebecca Lynn Howard grew up in Salyersville, KY, and moved to Nashville in 1997, where she began a career as a songwriter. Her compositions have been recorded by singers like Martina McBride, Trisha Yearwood, Julianne Hough, John Michael Montgomery, and Clay Aiken, to name a few. Her writing style varies from deep-rooted, front porch bluegrass and mountain music, to country, to pop and most everything in between. Howard was a featured vocalist on Jim Brickman’s “Simple Things” and enjoyed a #1 slot on the Billboard Adult Contemporary chart, but she is best known for her smash hit “Forgive,” which is still a favorite among fans and critics alike. Howard continues to produce and develop new talent in and outside of Nashville. Also a founding member of the Loving Mary Band that previously backed up Steven Tyler of Aerosmith, Howard played bass and sang harmony for the iconic rockstar. She’s once again proving there’s not much an East Kentucky girl can’t do.

Rebecca Lynn Howard is one of the most talented humans I’ve ever had the pleasure of working with. She has a voice that has been touched by God and I cannot wait for the world to get the chance to hear her new music

I have always loved this artist. Her Mother’s Day sentiment is a heart tugger.
— Robert K Oermann, MusicRow Magazine
‘I Am My Mother’ feels like Rebecca Lynn Howard walked into the forgotten rooms of my heart, and turned on the lights. It’s a poignantly raw portrait of a mother and her daughter. Feels like she wrote the song about me. Perfectly written, sung and produced. Classic Rebecca Lynn.
